Rebound understands how important it is to listen to those we serve. Success is an individual journey with very different goals. To that end, we have developed the Rebound Success Curve which creates a customized roadmap.
Entrepreneurship and Wealth Building
Innovative programs to help individuals tackle their current financial problems and develop a plan for the long-term. Through goal determination and self-assessment, we provide resources, education and planning support to those seeking help in developing a personal wealth building strategy. It is our intent to identify community partners so that we are able to become a local CDFI; providing the financial resources to individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial endeavors through micro-loans, business planning and ongoing support.
• Financial Literacy Education
We teach basic financial literacy to youth, adults and previously incarcerated persons by offering group workshops with programs that address community needs. We believe that financial literacy is vital in stabilizing families and communities and we are committed to providing the resources that will empower families, enhance financial accountability and foster a sense of financial wellness. Part of our educational platform will include an online financial academy. We seek to establish relationships with high schools, universities and programs of higher education with the goal of collaborating to include financial literacy as a resource available to students and their families.
• Previously Incarcerated Persons (PIPs)
We will provide a pre-release program for incarcerated individuals who are preparing to reenter society. This program will provide structured long-term support through success mentoring, housing assistance, employment services, transportation, access to technology and communications.
Housing
We are committed to supporting community initiatives in developing environmentally friendly affordable housing. We value community collaboration between housing agencies, the community, lending institutions, social service organizations and contractors; empowering families through education on their unique housing choices based on individual need. We have expertise in acquisition and rehab of properties where we promote the incorporation of green technologies, energy efficiencies and universal design.
• Transitional Housing
Providing a safe living environment for all with a passion for youth ages 18-24 aging out or emancipated from the foster care system, previously incarcerated persons and veterans.
• Special Needs Housing
Supporting the unique needs of seniors, individuals with disabilities and those with mental illness—fostering the greatest independence possible.
• Veterans
It is with honor and respect that we support the growing needs of veterans and their families from past and present wars through home modifications and repairs to provide safety, accessibility and comfort, services that retired and active service men and women struggle to meet.
Charitable Giving of Real Estate
As part of our diversified funding plan, we accept and/or facilitate gifts of Real Estate. Our organization collaborates with a nationally recognized expert who assists in the education of community members and organizations in answering their questions related to the planned gifting of Real Estate. Donations can be anywhere in the world, and they can include commercial properties, residential properties or land.
